Choir Shines in Londonderry

Our choir travelled to the historic city of Londonderry for an unforgettable musical experience. The trip brought together voices, cultures, and creativity as some of our seniors joined forces with the renowned French acappella group, Humanophones and took part in the National Youth Choir Competition of the City of Derry International Choir Festival

From the moment we arrived, the city’s warm welcome and vibrant atmosphere set the tone for an inspiring few days. The rehearsals and performance with Humanophones challenged us to explore new vocal techniques and rhythms, blending movement and sound in fresh and exciting ways. Performing alongside such talented artists was not only a privilege but also a powerful reminder of the universal language of music.

The highlight of the trip was our performance in the National Youth Choir Competition, where the whole choir proudly represented our community with passion and teamwork. The standard of music was outstanding, and sharing the stage with so many dedicated young singers was a true celebration of choral talent.
